Since January 2003, I have worked for the East Brunswick Public School System as a guest teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Jersey City State College in Criminal Justice/Fire Safety and Security Administration, with a concentration in fire science and a Master of Public Administration (1985) from New York University. I graduated from the Middlesex County Police Academy in 1978. I have worked in law enforcement for the public sector as a County Investigator for the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, and have over twenty-five years in law enforcement. Part of my experience includes being a charter member (1980) of the Middlesex County Arson Task Force , and establishing the Computer Services Unit of the Prosecutor's Office which brought them technologically forward from typewriters and index cards to personal computers, local area networks, word processing and database applications. I have provided assistance to the County Assistant Prosecutors with multimedia presentations for criminal trials. I have excellent class management skills and am experienced in teaching a wide variety of subjects given my background. I hold a Middlesex County Substitute Teaching Certificate and I am currently available for the East Brunswick School District grades K-12.
I am available through the AESOP system, listed as Steven M.
